Request for Bids - 2026 Ford F-150 4x4 Supercrew

REQUEST FOR BIDS

CITY OF LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GEORGIA

The City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, is accepting sealed bids from qualified manufacturers, vehicle dealers or suppliers for a police truck meeting the specifications set forth below.  Sealed bids will be opened at the following date, time and location:

Specifications: Bids are requested for a new 2026 Ford F-150 4x4 Supercrew. The truck must include a 145” wheelbase, 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, and electric ten-speed automatic transmission. The exterior should be carbonized gray metallic, and the interior should be black cloth 40/Console/40. It should contain all the standard equipment alongside the following extra equipment: The XLT series package, with 8-way power drivers’ seat, and dual zone auto temperature control. The vehicle should contain LED fog lamps, 275/65R 18 BSW all-terrain tires, a 3.31 electronic lock RR axle, the 7100# GVWR package, a front license plate bracket, the XLT black appearance package, 18” gloss black wheels, an extended range 36-gallon fuel tank, and the Ford Connectivity package with 1 year included. The vehicle must have a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and all other standard manufacturers' warranties. Copies of the warranties, proposed bill of sale, and any other contract or sales documents must be provided with the bid for the City's review.  The successful bidder must agree to service the truck locally (i.e., in Walker County, Georgia, or Hamilton County, Tennessee), during the warranty period and afterward, and must have fully staffed local service facilities.  Before acceptance of the bid, representatives of the City shall have the right to inspect the specific vehicle being offered and the bidder's service facilities.

Cost of delivery shall be included in the bid price. The bid and purchase shall be all inclusive with no add-ons or extra charges, other than state sales tax if applicable. The bidder should also show their proposed date of delivery of the completed vehicle to the City Hall. This date should be predicated on the City’s acceptance of the proposed bid.

No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, prior to the time set forth above.  Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened.

The City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
