CALLED MEETING
For the
City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia
June 22, 2006

PRESIDING: Thomas G. Gifford, Mayor

PRESENT: Council Members Dennis G. Eischeid, Ray Seipp, Catherine M. Kelley, Chief Wallace Taylor, City Clerk Mary Katherine Harper, City Attorney Bill Pickering and John Tallman.

CALLED TO ORDER:  Mayor Gifford called the meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 a.m. at 1214 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

AMENDED BUDGET:  City Attorney Pickering read in its entirety Ordinance #222, an ordinance to amend the current operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005, and ending June 30, 2006.

A motion was duly made, seconded, and the Council unanimously approved Ordinance #222 on its final reading.

OPERATING BUDGET:  Mr. Pickering then read in its entirety Ordinance #223, an ordinance to adopt the proposed operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2007.

After discussion, a motion was duly made, seconded and unanimously approved to adopt Ordinance #223 as amended on its final reading.

There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting was thereupon adjourned.
