Thomas G. Gifford
Mayor
Tom is a native of Lookout Mt., GA; he and his wife Barby have lived in the community for 30 years. They have three children and three grandchildren. Tom as well as children Jamey and Debby attended Fairyland school; Barby was active with the PTO. Tom has been in the carpet industry for 35 years, previously as owner of Chattanooga Tufters and currently as President of American Tufting and Felting, LLC.
Prior to being elected Mayor, Tom served on the Zoning Board of Appeals, the City Council, and as Vice-Mayor. The Giffords are members of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.
